Ever wonder why your heli shakes like a boss when you spool up?  and why it shakes on spool down?

    Ground resonance.

My Warp 360 is probably the one heli that has the worst amount of GR in my entire fleet, especially on spool down.

Here is a vid of a high end speed heli (Banshee) that had an GR incident.  My Warp does the same thing, though it has not as yet suffered damage.

The only cure for GR shakes is to get off the ground.  On landing, it may help to do baby auto rotations where you bleed off as much head speed as possible before touching down, but it only works if the head speed is below the resonance speed.  If it’s higher, you’ll still have to transition through the resonance speed.

Here is a full scale heli and the damage GR can cause.

Remember, the only cure for ground resonance is to get away from the ground.
