Reading the description of the new PZ Sukhoi calls out some interesting features of the soon to be released AR636 Spektrum AS3X receiver…

I did end up picking up one of these from Crossroads Hobbies.

This plane is exactly what you would hope it to be… It is a very strong and capable 3D plane at a reasonable price.

The AS3X comes tuned very well in both “Precision” and “3D” modes and doesn’t quite feel as confining as it has in other models, though it still feels “there” more than the BD Cortex does… Not really a fair comparison given price though, and for what it is, the AR636 in this model does a very nice job.

Small enough to throw in the car easily, strong performance, and runs on a 3S LiPo. I’m happy enough with this one that I ended up selling the ArtiZan to a fellow club member who is making great progress into sport flight!
