    So… The E-flite Carbon Z Yak…

This one has been in the fleet for a while now, and is ready to have a little new life breathed into it.

If I recall, this was actually one of their first “larger” Carbon Z offerings and truly does fly well for a hunk of foam. Tracks well, roll rates are absolutely obscene, and its overall a lot of fun to fly. The only tricky part with this one is the landings, no bad habits per se, but the airframe tends to drop like a rock, straight down, if you don’t carry enough power until the wheels are on the ground.

Recently, they updated this model to include the AR635 RX, and thanks to Savage21 who pulled one from his Splendor, I’m going to try it out in the YAK, along with upgraded servos and a YEP 60 ESC.

If all goes well, it should be up in the air tomorrow morning.
